Hel Looks is een streetstyle blog afkomstig uit Helsinki. Zij documenteren individuele, unieke looks en stijlen. Liisa Jokinen en Sampo Karjalainen begonnen hun blog in juli 2005.

Eeva (28) “The jacket is my grandmother’s old. She has probably made it herself. The dress is from Comics Center, the bag from a flea market in Paris and the shoes by Vagabond. Outfits need to have contrasts and humour – like here the comics print and the cats.”

Tiina (25) “I like comfortable natural materials, backbags, the combination of yellow and blue, simple colours and sailor influences.”

Irene (25) “I’m wearing a Selected silk shirt, second hand trousers, boots by Hanna Sarén and my grandmother’s old handbag. The older I get, the more easy it is to recognize my style. At the moment I like silk, down-to-earth colours and the film Never Let Me Go.”

Timo (32) “I’m wearing a Muji scarf, a second hand trench coat from Rome and shoes also from Rome. My favourite brands? The usual suspects: A.P.C. and Comme des Garcons Play.”

Viivi (24) “I’m at the mercy of the cold weather but I’m still fighting against the winter shoes. I’m wearing a jacket by Malene Birger, knits by Filippa K and Cos and a self-made skirt. Marni and Missoni are my favourie fashion houses. Different textures, autumnal colours, wool, warmth and flowers inspire my style.”
